To fundamentally understand the role of the confinement in molecular heterogeneous catalysis this CRC 1333 has formed an interdisciplinary team of scientists from five different institutions in the second funding period:

• University of Stuttgart
• Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research
• University of Paderborn
• Philipps University of Marburg
• Ruhr-University Bochum

In addition, an external scientific advisory board supports the research program.
