A08 – Oxidation in chiral dynamic metal-organic frameworks
Stereoselective oxidation catalysis in adaptive chiral confinement of dynamic metal-organic frameworks
We will control stereoselective oxidation reactions by catalysis in responsive confinement of Fe-based dynamic MOFs. Instead of chiral side groups we utilize homochiral BINOL-based linker backbones to generate chiral pore environment in a dynamic framework that structurally adapts to substrates and intermediates for improved stereoselectivity. We will explore the stereoselective oxidative phenol coupling of naphthols and acyclic tripeptides with product scopes relevant for arylomycin antibiotics.
