Compatibility of science and family

During the first and second funding periods, we implemented several measures to support the compatibility of scientific work and family responsibilities for all our researchers.

• Events scheduled to end by 03:00 PM
• Childcare provided during events
• Vacation childcare for school-aged children
• Dedicated daycare space for children aged 0-3 years (via the “Pooling initiative”)
• Home-office options for groups with primarily computer-based work
• A parent–child room in the CRC 1333 central building on campus, as well as a mobile “Kids Box” equipped with toys and essential care items
