CRC 1333 at Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation

Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation, organized by Wissenschaft im Dialog and the largest conference on science communication in the German-speaking world, took place on December 3 & 4, 2025 in Stuttgart. It brought together around 750 participants for two inspiring days of exchange, new ideas, and fresh perspectives on science engagement — with artificial intelligence in science communication emerging as a key topic throughout the event.

The CRC 1333 was represented in several ways at this year’s Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation:

  • At the Universität Stuttgart booth, connecting with conference participants.
  • Through a poster and talk by Yasemin Polikar, MBA, on engaging new target groups in SciComm, featuring our exhibition “Was kann Katalyse?” as a hands-on example.
  • With an interactive workshop by Samuel Van Gele, in collaboration with Juliane Braig from the theatre group Kanonenfutter and Isabella Kessel from the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart, exploring ImprovTheatre as an innovative approach to science communication.

We left the conference inspired, energized, and full of new ideas for future projects. Many thanks to everyone who made these two days a fantastic space for learning, networking, and collaboration!
