Data Management

The project INF (infrastructure) provides comprehensive research data management support for all projects within the CRC, guided by the FAIR and FAIR4RS principles.

Our infrastructure is designed to be reusable and adaptable, making it transferable to other research groups and is aligned with the activities of NFDI4Chem, NFDI4Cat, and FAIRmat.

Activities in the INF project encompass six areas:

  • Electronic lab notebooks
  • Developing reusable tools and FAIR data standards for chemistry
  • Demonstrating their feasibility and value through workflow development in close collaboration with the CRC 1333 projects
  • Engaging in national and international collaborations with projects, initiatives, and consortia focused on FAIR research data management
  • Training and supporting researchers in establishing efficient, end-to-end workflows from data acquisition to publication
  • Software development.
