At this year’s Science Day, the CRC 1333 will offer experiments and hands-on activities for children ages 6 to 14 years to bring visitors closer to our research. Using experiments with a potato, we will explain what a catalyst is, and children can participate by using a model to try out how the pore works as a reaction chamber.
Those who use our model to figure out the correct reaction product will also earn a stamp in the faculty-wide chemistry quiz and can win a book prize.
