Compatibility of science and family

During the first and second funding period we implemented the following structures to support the compatibility of science and family duties for all our researchers.

• Events end by 03:00 PM
• Child-care provided at events
• Vacation childcare for school kids
• Dedicated daycare spaces, for children aged 0-3 years (via the “Pooling initiative”)
• Home-office options for groups with primarily computer-based work
• Parent-child room within the CRC 1333’s central building on Campus and mobile “Kids Box” with toys and essential care items
