Our third summer school took place in the picturesque town of Wetzlar from 30.08.2021 – 01.09.2021. Together with our peers from the SFB 858 in Wetzlar „Synergistic Effects in Chemistry – From Additivity towards Cooperativity“ we spent three days presenting and discussing our research findings. The sessions proved especially lively with the PhDs from Wetzlar adding valuable input. After the talks, we got together for the poster pitches which were very well received amongst all in attendance. Everyone was especially delighted that we could finally have a session with all CRC members in person again. Prof. Sven Schneider from the University of Göttingen joined us on the second and third day as a guest speaker with a presentation on “Nitrides in Action” and kept discussions engaging and meaningful.
