Summer School – High Resolution Analytical  Microscopy by Prof. Guido Schmitz (Projects C03, C09)

The Summer School on High Resolution and Analytical Microscopy offers a comprehensive introduction to state-of-the-art techniques such as Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX). Participants can benefit from hands-on workshops and lectures by leading scientists to develop a deep understanding of the characterisation of materials at the atomic level.  The event is aimed at anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of electron.microscopy and discover innovative applications.

TEM and other microscopic materials characterization is central to analyzing all materials of this CRC, thereby the course is most valuable to our researchers.

Besides the basic introduction, the 4D-TEM that is part of our research in  project C09 is being covered.
