On October 16, 2025, Jun.-Prof. Dr. Kenichi Endo gave his inaugural lecture as part of the GdCh Colloquium at the University of Stuttgart. The lecture, titled “Translating coordination chemistry from micro to macro scales for metal–organic frameworks synthesis and catalysis,” took place on campus in Vaihingen.

Kenichi Endo was appointed Junior Professor for Catalysis in Confined Geometries on May 8, 2025. Before taking up his professorship, he was part of CRC 1333 as a postdoctoral researcher in project A03, where he contributed to advancing the understanding of catalysis in confined spaces.
His new research group is based at the Institute of Polymer Chemistry at the University of Stuttgart and receives start-up funding from CRC 1333 through Seed Funding Project 6 – “Synthesis of Metal–Organic/Covalent–Organic Hybrid Frameworks for Robust Catalyst Confinement in Precise Geometries.”
