Module: Presentations – Performance, Appearance and Effectiveness (Part 2)

This course can only be attended if course “Presentations – Performance, Appearance and Effectiveness (Part 1)” has been attended.
During two half-day sessions on July 15th and November 04th, 2024 participants have the chance to take part in the group seminar “Presentations – Appearance, Appearance and Effectiveness”
Relevant professional situations:
e.g. giving papers on conferences, presentations in lectures, meetings, boards, committees etc.
Objectives:
The participants learn and practice relevant linguistic and non-linguistic factors for successful presentations. In part 1 on July 15th, 2024, they will develop theoretical background knowledge and transfer relevant aspects to their work practice. In part 2 on November 04th, 2024, the participants deliver short presentations and receive structured, collegial feedback on their personal appearance and impact.
In this way they learn techniques that support them in
- developing presence and impact
- focusing on the moment
- leaving their own comfort zone with self-confidence and
- remaining authentic in all developments.
The workshop will take place in English.
