Prof. Weil from the  Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research will talk within the colloquium series of the CRC 1333.

Thursday , 09. January 2020, 2:00 – 3:00 pm

Lecture Hall 47.04, Pfaffenwaldring 47, 70569 Stuttgart

Topic: “Biotemplated Polymer Synthesis”

Tanja Weil is one of the directors of the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research heading the department “Synthesis of Macromolecules”. The Department of Synthesis of Macromolecules develops innovative synthesis concepts to prepare functional macromolecules by complex molecular design strategies to solve future challenges in biomedicine and material science. Her vision is to create polymeric materials that can fulfill challenging tasks by controlling interactions with their surroundings to revolutionize e.g. molecular imaging and therapy of severe disease.

The CRC cordially invites all who are interested to the lecture.
