Compatibility of science and family
During the first and second funding period we implemented the following structures to support the compatibility of science and family duties for all our researchers.
- Events end by 03:00 PM
- Child-care provided at events
- Vacation childcare for school kids
- Dedicated daycare spaces, for children aged 0-3 years (via the “Pooling initiative”)
- Home-office options for groups with primarily computer-based work
- Parent-child room within the CRC 1333’s central building on Campus and mobile “Kids Box” with toys and essential care items
