The goal is not only to increase productivity\, but to support sustainable performance and well-being throughout your PhD. \nObjectives of the Workshop\n• Understand and overcome writing blocks\n• Recognize and reduce procrastination\n• Enter and sustain a productive “flow” state\n• Set clear priorities and healthy boundaries\n• Leverage personal strengths and resources\n• Manage stress effectively and build resilience\n• Stay effective under challenging external conditions \nLearning Content\n1. Understanding and overcoming writing blocks\nIdentify psychological causes and apply practical activation strategies.\n2. Managing procrastination effectively\nUnderstand why we delay tasks – and how to take action.\n3. Working in a flow state\nCreate the conditions for focused\, efficient\, and enjoyable work.\n4. Setting priorities and boundaries\nNavigate demands\, expectations\, and personal standards.\n5. Leveraging strengths and resources\nReflect on your work style and develop individualized success strategies.\n6. Understanding and regulating stress\nApply evidence-based approaches to stress management and self-regulation.\n7. Promoting relaxation and recovery\nLearn practical techniques for mental recovery in everyday work.\n8. Coping with external challenges\nDevelop strategies to handle uncertainty\, time pressure\, and complex environments. \nMethodology\n• Input based on (business) psychology\n• Reflection exercises and self-assessment\n• Practical tools for everyday PhD work\n• Group exchange and perspective-taking \nYou can find more information about registration here

SUMMARY:CRC 1333 Colloquium: Prof. Dr. Andreas Kilbinger
DESCRIPTION:We are very happy to welcome within the CRC 1333 Colloquium Series: \nProf. Dr. Andreas Kilbinger \nThursday\, January 21\, 2027\, 14:00-15:00 pm \nUniversity of Fribourg \nTopic: “TBA“ \nThe Kilbinger Group is interested in developing new synthetic methods for the preparation of precision polymers. The group is divided into two sub-groups\, one working on aromatic amide polymers and the other on olefin metathesis chemistry. Aromatic amide polymers and oligomers are useful building blocks for supramolecular polymer chemistry. Their shape-persistence allows the exact placement of functional groups in space. We are currently using such oligomers and polymers for the construction of tube-like polymeric helices. \nThe CRC cordially invites all who are interested to the lecture.
